The extension housing, tailshaft etc are all back in, and I think that is probably all I have to do under the XA now, apart from maybe adjusting brakes and bleeding the clutch line.
Fitting the extension housing back in was a bit of a pain in the arse. After unbolting everything, it came out fairly easy by twisting it around the place and yanking it out. After about an hour of trying to get the damn thing back in place, I had to unbolt the exhaust at the extractors and lower the exhaust to get enough clearance to get it in place. Those collector bolts were a pain the first time round, but it seemed a little easier this time. Anyway, it’s all back together now.
So today, I cleaned up the floor after the flooding I had last week. All seems pretty good now.
